Bloom and Grow Garden Society

Bloom and Grow Garden Society visits the Environmental Horticulture Department and makes a generous donation of $26,000

The department worked with the IFAS Foundation to host a return trip to campus by members of the Bloom & Grow Garden Society Club (https://www.bloomandgrow.club/). The club has been a great supporter of our scholarship program within the department and their recent visit included presenting the unit with a check for $26,000 to support our students.  The trip also included a visit to the Butterfly Rainforest at the Florida Museum of Natural History.  Club members enjoyed a lunch & learn seminar by Dr. Gail Hansen on pollinator-friendly landscape designs. The department greatly appreciated the generous donation to our scholarship program.  We also appreciate John Ramfjord of the IFAS Foundation for his hard work in coordination and support for the club’s visit to campus.
