2008 Prestige Early Red - Drench
Growth Regulators Applied / Height graph
Graph shows projected plant heights during production of the crop. Dots are plotted actual height each week. Arrows indicate when PGRs are applied with details in the weekly notes. We use the “late” graphical tracking curve and heights are from bench to height of growing tip. Heights are plotted from date of pinching to projected date of finish.
Notes
11/18
This crop of Prestige Early was given a single early Bonzi drench at 0.1 ppm and the plants are very similar to the first crop that was given a B-Nine/ Cycocel spray. See comments for the first crop.
11/11
This crop of Prestige Early is also ready earlier than expected.
11/04
These plants are similar to the first crop of Prestige Early. For us it is a little unusual to have a crop slow down with the predicted curve as these plants are. This is occurring because they are finishing a little earlier then planned and the nice mild weather.
10/28
Development on this crop of Prestige Early is similar to the first crop.
10/21
This crop of Prestige Early is similar to the first crop and we could actually use warmer weather for these two crops.
10/14
This crop of Prestige Early is also about where we expected it to be this week. Now we will watch to see when elongation starts slowing down.
10/07
This crop of Prestige Early is a little shorter than the first crop. Heights on these plants will probably progress along or just below the curve now.
9/30
Growth of this Prestige Early crop was a little less than expected this past week. So, we will see where they are next week.
9/23
These Prestige Early are fine at this stage. We will see how they develop the next couple of weeks.
9/16
For this crop of Prestige Early we are applying an early drench with Bonzi at 0.1 ppm this week. This should provide some control as the plants start to elongate more.
9/09
Like the other group of Prestige Early these plants look good. We may only need to do one early PGR application on this crop and will not treat this week.
9/02
These plants are doing fine.
8/26
This crop of Prestige Early Red will be treated with early Bonzi drenches and we can compare it to the previous crop that will be getting sprays.
