A synthetic sleeve secures root ball
A synthetic sleeve fabricated from nursery ground cloth to fit nicely around the root ball (see arrows) helps keep it intact, even as the natural burlap on the top and sides of the root ball inside of the wire basket decomposes. The sleeve MUST be removed prior to installing the tree into the landscape.
