Graduate Programs of Study
Master of Science
This is a research-based degree and students work closely with their major advisor in completing a research project and thesis. The objectives are to provide training in the scientific method and prepare students for research careers or for entering a doctoral program.
Master of Science, Non-Thesis
This is a course-based degree with no thesis requirement. This degree option is typically not eligible for funding and is considered a terminal degree.
Doctor of Philosophy
The doctoral study consists of independent mastery of a field of knowledge and the successful completion of original research that makes a major contribution to the field of horticulture.
