Complete canopy closure
Closely spaced trees planted along a street form a canopy developed on branches far from the ground. This creates a natural forest feeling and reduces maintenance normally required on trees spaced farther apart. The gravel surface on the walk allows air and water to enter the root zone. It also helps keep roots under the surface.
