After pruning
Lower branches (on the bottom 5 feet of the tree) were shortened and the largest one or two were removed back to the trunk. Several cuts were made in the canopy to encourage appropriate development there. Canopy pruning is covered in detail in "year one", "year two" and "year three" buttons found on the left side of this screen.
