A dynamic mix of scientists interested in discovering how seeds work then applying this knowledge to conservation, restoration, and seed production practice. Research in the lab is interdisciplinary in nature and spans such diverse topics as ecology, ecophysiology, stress physiology, developmental biology, and horticulture. The group conducts field, greenhouse and lab-based studies.
