Linear planting strips can conflict with signs
Trees in long planting strips can conflict with building signs if the site is not designed correctly as shown above. In the design above, the security lights (blue arrow) are located away from the tree planting strips-this eliminates conflicts between lights and trees and reduces maintenance.
