Rounding over in the nursery
These poor oaks have been sheared on all sides and on the top of the canopy. Trunk and branch structure is ruined. Growers found that this generated a tremendous amount of brush that needs to be burned or chipped, growth was slowed to a crawl, and a growing number of buyers did not want the product. Unfortunately, there are still some buyers out there that accept this.
