Planting area guidelines

1 Refer to Tree Selection for information on small, medium, and large maturing trees. 2 In compacted or poorly drained soil, increase recommended distances and planting area size to compensate for aggressive surface root formation. |
NOTE: These guidelines work only for 3 foot soil depth. If there is less than 3 feet of soil, plant small maturing trees.
