Mistletoemistle toe

Dwarf mistletoe infests branches and trunks of many trees. The branch distal to the point of attachment can decline and die.

Solutions: Remove the branch back to a live lateral branch or back to the parent stem. Make the cut at least 12 inches back from the point where the stem of the mistletoe enters the branch.
