Here you see low branches about as vigorous as lateral branches in the middle of the canopy. This is not a bad situation. Leave these low branches on the tree at this age - growth rate will be faster than if you were to remove them now. Trunk caliper and root growth are enhanced by leaving low branches on as long as possible.
