Cut roots caused tree to lean
Roots on this elm were cut when the driveway (lower right in the photo) was installed. Combined with the lions-tailing and over-lifting of the canopy which shifted weight to the top of the tree, cut roots resulted in the tree leaning severely.
Treatment: The tree should be removed because roots will not be able to hold the tree up.
