Larissa Laforest was invited to speak as an Alumni for the Annual Scholar Career Coaching Luncheon.
June 2022
Hearty congratulations to Blake Costine, the first graduate student in the lab who successfully defended his Master’s thesis in June 2022. He is also embarking on a new journey as Horticulture scientist at Kennedy Space Center where he will work in collaboration with NASA to support plant production in controlled environments for space exploration missions. We wish him good luck!!
May 2022
Larissa received award as runner-up for “Best Presentation” at Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology 2022 Symposium for her presentation titled “Mitragyna speciosa : Back to the future of medicinal natural products”
April 2022
Hearty congratulations to Megan, undergraduate student in the lab, for getting selected in the “University Scholars Program” 2022 at the University of Florida. Megan will be studying the impact of temperature stress on fatty acid profiles of camelina sativa seed oil.
Welcome to Brooke Hall, a freshman from biology major (CLAS) joins our lab.
Mar 2022
Hearty congratulations to Trisha, undergraduate student in the lab, for getting selected in “Cornell AgriTech's Plant Pathology and Plant-Microbe Biology” Summer Research Scholars Program for Summer 2022. Trisha will be studying the molecular mechanisms of virus-host interactions with Grapevine Fanleaf virus and host plant Nicotiana benthamiana.
