After heading all branches
After heading the canopy
All branches and the leader were cut using heading cuts to shape the canopy. Some branches in the bottom portion of the canopy were removed back to the trunk using a removal cut. This tree will grow out to a nice shape and will have a dominant leader when pruned like this twice each year.
