Function

trees

Trees provide us with many benefits, from the obvious, such as shade and production of oxygen, to the no less important but perhaps less noticeable, such as erosion control, protection of our water resources, supporting wildlife, and stream bank stabilization.

The function we would like our trees to provide may dictate tree size, shape (form), life span, canopy density, color, growth rate, fruit characteristics and other attributes.
