Hardened off field grown tree held too long
Roots growing through burlap indicate tree has overcome stress associated with digging the tree. This tree was held for more than a year resulting in many roots growing on the outside surface of the root ball inside the woven fabric. These are in a position to quickly grow into the landscape soil.
