Evaluate above ground characteristics

In the above ground evaluation, many elements must be taken into account in addition to "is it full sun or shade?" Too often, these other steps of the analysis are skipped over, which can lead to problems such as hazardous sidewalks torn up by tree roots, or signs completely covered by poorly selected trees.

Utility companies- and ultimately the customers- pay over $1 billion (1995 dollars) a year to fix problems with trees being too close to wires. By carefully evaluating a site in advance, we can create good designs that avoid these expensive issues.above ground tree characteristics
