Divya Rana

Divya is a PhD student in the Environmental Horticulture Department. Her current research focuses on exploring the responses to increased temperatures during gametogenesis in maize and rice.

In her free time, she likes to enjoy gardening and painting.

RESEARCH SCIENTIST

Isabel Ocampo

Isabel Ocampo

Isabel is a Research Scientist in the Environmental Horticulture Department. Her current research focuses on developing methods that facilitate functional genomics studies. Isabel has more than 10 years of industry experience. In her free time, she likes to drink coffee.

VISITING SCIENTIST

Dr. Javier Correa Alvarez

Dr. Javier Correa Alvarez

EAFIT University – Colombia

Dr. Javier is a visiting professor from the Biological Science Department at EAFIT University in Medellin - Colombia. His work is focused on the study of plant and microbial genetics, with an emphasis on understanding molecular mechanisms during plant-pathogen interactions. During his sabbatical period in UFL/Begcy Lab, he is researching in characterization of gene regulator families using computational biology approaches.
