Tim working

In 2004, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in biology. During my undergraduate studies I had the good fortune of working with a great mentor, Dr. Wil Taylor, who let me learn the ins and outs of electron microscopy while studying the ultrastructure of plant spore fossils. I left Eau Claire with a desire to continue my scientific training and have since found a passion for plant conservation.

For more about my research on the seed physiology, seed ecology, and restoration biology of the grass pink orchid (Bletia purpurea), visit my research page. If you are interested in getting digital copies of my publications, visit my curriculum vitae page.

I am currently working with Dr. Mike Kane at the Plant Restoration, Conservation and Propagation Biotechnology Lab (Gainesville, FL).
