Brooks Parrish wins IPPS Southern Region of North America Charlie Parkerson Virtual Student Research Competition


Brooks Parrish, a graduate student in the UF/IFAS Department of Environmental Horticulture, won the Charlie Parkerson Virtual Student Research Competition. This news was announced on October 28th at the International Plant Propagators' Society North American Summit (http://sna.ipps.org/).

Brooks received his BS degree from our department in December 2019 and began his graduate study with us this past spring. His presentation to the IPPS Southern Region of North America Charlie Parkerson Virtual Student Research Competition was "Morphological and cytological characterization of six porterweed (Stachytarpheta) selections."
