Before pruning close-up

There is one pretty nice leader to the top. However, one stem about 8 feet from the top is a bit aggressive and is nearly equal in size with the trunk. It is difficult to see this in the photo - look about one foot above the bottom of the photo to see where the two stems join. Remove a branch or two from the interior portion of the right hand stem to slow its growth. This will help keep the leader dominant.
