Here is the same tree as in the last photo two years after removing too much foliage from the interior. It has not sprouted too much yet. Trees respond in different manners to the same abuse; some will sprout profusely; others may not, or they may sprout several years later. The canopy is beginning to droop some due to over-extension of the canopy.
