The clip shows how to structurally prune a mature tree with an over-extended branch with a bark inclusion. The lower limb will be pruned by removing or shortening branches with reduction and removal cuts. This will reduce the likelihood of branch failure. This is a more aggressive approach that shown in animation example eight.
