Roots inside a container root ball

roots inside container

This root ball was produced inside an air root pruned container. Note the abundance of small roots on the right side of the photo where the media was removed. There were few roots growing on the outside edge; instead the circling roots were located an inch or two inside the edge of the media. of the root ball. Similar root balls can be produced in copper treated containers, fabric containers, ribbed containers, and other alternate designs.
