This tree is hardened-off and ready for shipping to the landscape. A good indication of when the tree is ready for planting into the landscape is when roots have grown through the burlap. This typically takes several weeks to a couple months depending on the time of year. (Click here to see roots growing through the burlap.) The black plastic cloth must be removed as shown before planting.
