Multi-year example of pruning a medium aged tree

The form on this tree is typical for so many urban trees with several leaders in the top of the tree growing upright. The top left photo shows an arborist climbing to the top of the crown. The bottom and middle portion of the tree has already been pruned to reduce upright stems. The photo on the upper right shows the tree immediately after pruning.
