RESTORATION HORTICULTURE
Receive the fundamentals for establishing, managing and protecting native plant communities through horticulture-based training in core courses. Become proficient in many aspects of plant science, including native and rare plant propagation and production, plant ecology and conservation, weed control, and planting design and specification.
Students that may excel in this specialization include those who enjoy working outdoors, applying horticultural skills to restoration, and the challenges and rewards of managing and restoring natural areas.
