Field Trips and International Travel

Students regularly attend field trips to local nurseries, garden centers, and public parks and gardens, which give them a glimpse of the career opportunities available.

The Department of Environmental Horticulture annually hosts an international horticulture tour to allow the student to experience international horticulture production and marketing and visits to gardens.  Previous tours have included Costa Rica, Canada, Holland, Belgium, France, and Italy.
