Students Compete in PLANET Student Career Days

Nineteen environmental horticulture students traveled to Atlanta in March to
compete in the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) 32nd annual Student Career
Days. The team placed nineteenth overall out of sixty-four schools. Paul Reed, a
senior in the Golf
and Sports Turf Management specialization, placed first out of
eighty-five students in the Turf and Turf Pest ID event. Congratulations to Paul
and the rest of the UF PLANET SCD team. Look for news of the team next March,
when they travel to Pomona, California!
