Candice Prince

Candice is a PhD student in the Environmental Horictulture Department. She has been involved with the Restoration and Plant Ecology lab since fall 2012 when she began working with the lab on her undergraduate thesis for the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Upper Division Honors Program since spring 2013. In addition to working as a Research Assistant, Candice has held internships with Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve in Pennsylvania and with the University of Florida's BioEnergy and Sustainable Technologies Laboratory. Her primary research interests include invasive species biology and control, as well as restoration strategies for longleaf pine forests and wetlands. Her current research focuses on the impact of an invasive species on soil characteristics.
