Teaching

I teach two one-semester courses and a summer tissue culture workshop. These courses include Graduate Professional Development Seminar (ALS 5934), which is a requirement for all Environmental Horticulture graduate students, and Micropropagation of Horticultural Crops (PLS 4242/5241). During the summer I teach a workshop entitled, "Introducing Plant Tissue Culture in the Classroom." This workshop is meant to educate and facilitate educators of all skill and academic levels in plant tissue culture procedures, ultimately allowing them to take this technology back to their classrooms as a teaching tool.
