Whitestar

This week's notes: These Whitestar have finished on schedule and at a good height. The plants look good. The 2 inches of growth the last 14 days was a little surprising, but welcomed. Elongation from Fascination normally occurs within 5-14 days after application, so we are not sure that all of this late elongation was due to the Fascination. For this cooler fall, the amount of PGR needed early was unexpected, but the crop was never on verge of getting out of control. In hindsight we probably should not have made the Cycocel spray on Oct. 14.
