Silent Night is an attractive plant with bright red bracts. It has medium vigor, but we do not expect it to stretch badly near the end of the crop. We expect growth similar to Prestige. |

The laterals are starting to grow now and we will see what this crop does the next couple of weeks. |

Lateral growth on this Silent Night crop looks to be progressing fine and we expect to make a PGR spray next week. |

See the Christmas Feelings Red 6.5" crop for our strategy on that crop, which is showing a similar growth pattern to this point. Silent Night has more vigor than Christmas Feelings, so we applied the medium B-Nine/Cycocel (1,500/1,250 ppm) on this crop. |

Like other crops, the spray slowed elongation and this Silent Night crop should now grow fine for a while. |

The spray applied 2 weeks ago had more effect than anticipated. The terminals are elongating slowly, so maybe it will pick up the pace this week. |
